Responding to the COVID-19 pandemic has been an all-in effort across Koch companies, from Georgia-Pacific adjusting its supply chain to meet demand for bath tissue and paper towels to Infor providing the software that healthcare providers rely on to manage their data.
Jim Hannan, Koch Industries’ executive vice president and CEO of Enterprises, shared more details with Yahoo Finance’s The First Trade about how employees are rapidly responding to production needs while also ensuring safety and health.
“We’ve taken considerable extra precautions in our workplaces to make sure we have a safe and secure environment. Following the CDC guidelines, practicing social distancing, doing all the things we need to do with hygiene, with sanitation, and then really relying on our people to make good decisions. And they’ve done that and done a tremendous job of it,” Hannan said.
