How can bottom-up innovation transform businesses and individuals? As Chase Koch explained in a recent interview, it starts with creating a preferred partnership.
Koch, president of Koch Disruptive Technologies, recently sat down with Barron’s to discuss how businesses and communities can break down barriers for all. For example, Koch pointed to KDT’s initial investment in INSIGHTEC, whose Exablate Neuro device uses ultrasound waves to treat essential tremor patients.
“Koch isn’t historically known for being in the health-care market, but we saw this as an opportunity,” he said – one that can transform lives.
From innovating within existing businesses to investing in state-of-the-art medical technology, Koch explained how he and a broad coalition of partners across business and society are working toward today’s solutions while building tomorrow’s capabilities.
“I’m passionate about this whole idea of ‘uniting with anyone to do right.’ That strategy has helped what we’re trying to do and how we’re trying to help people unlock their potential,” Koch said.
