$300,000 in Koch Scholarships awarded by Wichita State's Cohen Honors College February 12, 2016 min read These nine students were selected from approximately 100 applicants. Each will be awarded between $30,000 and $50,000 over the course of four years, in addition to general merit scholarships they have earned to assist with in-state or out-of-state cost of attendance. The Koch Scholarship is made possible by a pledge from Koch Industries and the Fred and Mary Koch Foundation. Of the $11.25 million pledged to WSU, $1.54 million was dedicated by Koch Industries to competitive awards for Cohen Honors College freshmen who will be high achieving students in majors within the College of Engineering or the W.
