Remembering farm safety as harvest begins

In an op-ed for the Ames Tribune, Jason Neutzling, director of health and safety of Flint Hills Resources, says the company celebrated the 72nd National Farm Safety & Health Week the week of Sept. 20. Neutzling writes that “at Flint Hills Resources, our number one priority is safe and responsible operations, and we understand that leadership in health and safety is essential to our communities’ long-term success.” For this reason, the company is “proud to partner with organizations such as Operation Lifesaver and the Progressive Agriculture Foundation as well as our local fire departments and emergency responders to encourage safer communities.”
